Reclining Buddha

May 19, 2001 - Some Pictures and Future Plans

Below are some last pictures we took in Bangkok before returning home. The one on the left is the famous Reclining Buddha at Wat Po.

Carol is waiting to get approval for her knee surgery. Since her case falls under the workman's compensation program, it has to go through the Department of Labor. No idea how long she has to wait.

We finalized our future plans this week. Sometime in July we will move to Ft. Collins, Colorado, renting an apartment at first to see how we like it there. Carol is planning to look for a job, I'll see what opportunities there are for me, perhaps working with Thai students. There seems to be an active Thai student organization at the University. Maybe I will be using my training I had in Thailand teaching English. We both want to keep up our Thai.

This will be the last posting to this newsgroup. All newsletters and pictures can be found on our Peace Corps website at www.bluemarble.de/peace_corps/Training/training.htm
