The Rest of the Story

The information provided here focuses primarily on the more scientific aspects of the Kombucha culture. Some is based on my own lab tests and literature research, some may be excerpts from documents I have discovered or received from others.I have been fascinated with biology for quite a while and have invested a good amount of time studying cell and microbiology as a hobby.

Note: Since publishing this Kombucha website many years ago, I have moved away from studying the scientific aspects of Kombucha. My life has taken many turns since then, some of them dramatic and rather unexpected: retirement, Peace Corps Thailand, death of our youngest son, a chronic progressive auto-immune disease confining me to a wheelchair and requiring me to use a voice recognition program for typing, and last not least the birth of my 18th grandchild today. biggrin
